Walking and talking

Deuce is such a busy boy! He never stops moving. He has taken a few steps on his own. The most we've seen is about 4-5 steps and he either falls down or gets where he's going. He's going to be off and running before we know it. He's also started saying some recognizable words. He says dada more than anything else. He has finally started to say mama and he babbles quite a bit. He's also picked up some other word along the way. We've tried to get it on video but everytime I pull out the camera he starts laughing. We got it on video here but you'll have to be patient and listen. See if you can tell what he's saying:

It seems that his two top teeth are also coming in. This will make 4 since he has the two front bottom teeth.

Munchkin is almost done with soccer and has been asking to play baseball so we signed him up for t-ball. He's also asked to take tae kwon do lessons and play hockey but we've tried to explain to him that one thing at a time is enough for now. He's also still doing swim lessons and they seem to be going really well. We went to a TKD tournament to watch his cousins and aunts compete and this is how he spent half of the time we were there:

This is not a great picture because he was laying on my leg asleep and I couldn't get a good shot of him. He was asleep in a very loud stadium for almost two hours! We can't get him to nap at home but he slept there. We've pretty much even given up getting him to rest during the day now. He just doesn't seem to need the break anymore unless he's had a really late night the night before.

Mommy's friend came in town and got to spend some time with the boys. Check out spiderman in his flip flops:

Munchkin was very excited to get to take her to the airport so he could see the planes but he was not happy when he found out she wasn't staying. As soon as we left he asked when she was coming back. I think he wore her out playing on the fort so it's probably a good thing he can't make her run around like that all the time!

We are also so excited because we have a new cousin! We are looking forward to meeting him. This makes niece/nephew #16 for Mommy and Daddy! Munchkin and Deuce have a lot of cousins to keep them entertained.
