Spring Break

Munchkin stayed out of school and had spring break the same time Daddy did this year. So we went to the zoo one day and then the movies another day. Then he went with Daddy to see Mema and Papa. He was so excited to see Papa's cows and go fishing with Daddy! This was his first time to go fishing and the first time they went they didn't catch anything. But they went back that afternoon and caught 7 fish! Here are some pics from their day. This is Munchkin and his first fishing rod. This one broke so Daddy got him a new one later:

Once he figured out that it wasn't going to bite him he was willing to touch it. This is with one of Daddy's fishing rods:

And this is what happens when Munchkin gets bored with fishing and needs a break. He decided to go play on the 4 wheeler:

He had such a great time while he was there. He also got to go to lunch with Nana and his Great Aunt E and play with his cousins. We had a great week with him and it was a needed break for all of us. The week after break when Munchkin went back to school his teacher said that he had the best week ever. I think he just needed some time off!

Now some of the older kids have moved up to the next class and Munchkin is the teachers "secretary". He helps her with stuff in the classroom and he's loving it.
