State Fair of Texas

Munchkin and Mommy went with Auntie and the boys to the State Fair of Texas last Saturday. It was Munchkin's first time at the fair and he had a blast! The first thing we did was go to the midway to ride some rides! Munchkin wasn't afraid to ride the rides and even rode one by himself. He rode the motorcycles, race cars and airplanes. Such a boy! Here are some pics:

After the rides we went to the dog show. It was a little hot in the stands but we ate some corny dogs and popcorn and watched the show:

Then we went to another pavillion and had some free ice cream and got to see Elsie the cow and her calf:

Then we went to the car show where all the boys played in some of the cars:

We also went to a bmx show after this and rode the "skytrain". We also went to the petting zoo. There were a lot of cute animals and munchkin ran around from animal to animal:

There were lots of other shows and exhibits. The boys got to build their own sandcastles too! On the way out we watched the Prairie View A&M band marching in to go to the game at the Cotton Bowl:

As soon as we got in the car Munchkin fell asleep! He had a great day and we all had a great time. Can't wait to go back next year!
